The Whiskey Brooklyn

Last time I was in Brooklyn with Liz, we tried to go to the Brooklyn Brewery only to find that it was closed that day……soooooo, we skipped across the street to the Whiskey Brooklyn. Best. Idea. EVER!

I don’t think this article really does it justice. The bartender - really nice guy and fun to talk to ( we had an hour long conversation), ended up hooking Liz and I up with a free shot of the Tom Lawson whiskey. Definitely smooth stuff. The best part of the whole thing though was when the bartender pulled out a stack of photo booth pictures for us to look through and they did not disappoint. After about five minutes of thumbing through, Liz and I decided to head over to the photo booth and leave our legacy. If you ever end up going to this place, ask to see them. You won’t be disappointed.

We endearingly nicknamed the bartender “Spooks” after we discovered his birthday was 9 days after mine and on Halloween. If he’s there, definitely ask for him by this name and let him know Liz & Nic will be rolling through in a couple weeks. ;)

BROOKLYN BOUND

Yessss! Just got the best news yesterday that I will be transferring my current job to the Brooklyn site and making a shit ton of money. My girlfriend, Liz, also makes a shit ton of money, soooo…….requests pending include:

- 50” flatscreen

-Dolby Digital Surround Sound

-Date night at a nice restaurant at least twice a week

-A week long excursion through Napa Valley

-New wardrobe

P.S. What is even more exciting is that we have waited forever for this - to get ahead in our careers and to start making money so we can do as we please. Soooooo stoked to start our life together again. We deserve this.
